  2. William Shakespeare
William Shakespeare was the son of John Shakespeare, an alderman and a successful glover originally from Snitterfield, and Mary Arden, the daughter of an affluent landowning farmer. He was born in Stratford-upon-Avon and baptised there on 26 April 1564. His actual birthdate remains unknown, but is traditionally observed on 23 April, St George's Day. This date, which can be traced back to an 18th-century scholar's mistake, has proved appealing to biographers, since Shakespeare died 23 April 1616.He was the third child of eight and the eldest surviving son.
Although no attendance records for the period survive, most biographers agree that Shakespeare was probably educated at the King's New School in Stratford, a free school chartered in 1553, about a quarter-mile from his home. Grammar schools varied in quality during the Elizabethan era, but the curriculum was dictated by law throughout England, and the school would have provided an intensive education in Latin grammar and the classics.
At the age of 18, Shakespeare married the 26-year-old Anne Hathaway. The consistory court of the Diocese of Worcester issued a marriage licence 27 November 1582. The next day two of Hathaway's neighbours posted bonds guaranteeing that no lawful claims impeded the marriage The ceremony may have been arranged in some haste, since the Worcester chancellor allowed the marriage banns to be read once instead of the usual three times, and six months after the marriage Anne gave birth to a daughter, Susanna, baptised 26 May 1583. Twins, son Hamnet and daughter Judith, followed almost two years later and were baptised 2 February 1585. Hamnet died of unknown causes at the age of 11 and was buried 11 August 1596.
After the birth of the twins, Shakespeare left few historical traces until he is mentioned as part of the London theatre scene in 1592, and scholars refer to the years between 1585 and 1592 as Shakespeare's "lost years". Biographers attempting to account for this period have reported many apocryphal stories. Nicholas Rowe, Shakespeare’s first biographer, recounted a Stratford legend that Shakespeare fled the town for London to escape prosecution for deer poaching in the estate of local squire Thomas Lucy. Shakespeare is also supposed to have taken his revenge on Lucy by writing a scurrilous ballad about him. Another 18th-century story has Shakespeare starting his theatrical career minding the horses of theatre patrons in London. John Aubrey reported that Shakespeare had been a country schoolmaster. Some 20th-century scholars have suggested that Shakespeare may have been employed as a schoolmaster by Alexander Hoghton of Lancashire, a Catholic landowner who named a certain "William Shakeshafte" in his will. No evidence substantiates such stories other than hearsay collected after his death, and Shakeshafte was a common name in the Lancashire area.

  4. BOB MARLEY
Bob Marley, Robert Nesta Marley born, was born on February 6, 1945, in Nine Mile, a small town north of Jamaica. I could not imagine would become one of the musical myths of this century.

Bob Marley was the son of Cedella Booker, an African woman who lives in Jamaica, 18 and Norval Marley, a British army captain, 50 years distanced himself from his son.

In the late fifties, Robert moved with his mother to Kingston, the capital. It was the city where people came from rural areas towards improving their economic situation. Unfortunately for most, their destination was the slums and miserable.

Had great influence in the life of Bob Marley's Rastafarian religion, a mixture of Biblical prophecy, black nationalism naturist philosophy. In 1930 Ras Tafari Makkonen was crowned emperor of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie's going to be called. According to an old prophecy, the king would deliver black people from white rule. Many Jamaicans who believe in the prophecy, he was elected as the representative of his new religion.

It was in this environment where Bob Marley Neville O'Riley Livingstone met (Bunny) and Peter McIntosh. Together they started playing, influenced by the music of Ray Charles, Fats Domino, Brook Benton and Curtis Mayfield.

In 1963 he formed a group, 'Wailing Wailers', releasing a first single would reach first place in Jamaican lists. Bob Marley became the first one to write songs about young offenders Kigston ghetto.

In 1966, Bob Marley married Rita Anderson, and went to live with his mother a few months. This was living in the United States with her new husband. On his return to the island, the Rastafarian belief in religion grew, reflected in his songs.

With his friends Bunny and Peter, create a new group 'The Wailers'. Due to the 'spirituality' that emanated from his songs, had trouble finding representatives, which detracts much of the success they expected.

In the early seventies, joined forces with Lee Perry, a producer who revolutionized their work, resulting in some of his best works, such as' Soul Rebel ',' Small Axe ', '400 Years' and so on.

In 1972, the group released their first album, Catch a Fire ', which was very successful, leading to the record company to tour England and America. In 1973 came out his new album, 'Burnin', with new versions of old themes.

In 1975 Bunny and Peter left the group to pursue his solo career. I replaced the woman in the group of Marley, Marcia Griffiths and Judy Mowatt. The group became known as 'Bob Marley & The Wailers'.

In 1976 he published 'Rastaman Vibrations', climbing the charts and still regarded as the clearest example of the beliefs of Bob Marley.

On December 5, 1976, Marley was about to give a concert in Jamaica, as a vindication of peace and the rights of citizens from their homeland. But some strangers attacked him before the concert, but not hurt. After this attack, Bob Marley left Jamaica and moved to Florida, multiplying their tours U.S., Europe and Africa.

The following year he released the album 'Exodus', which became a bestseller in England. In 1978 he published 'Kaya', a new success with songs of love and homage to marijuana.

After releasing the album "Babylon By Bus', the result of European and American tour, Marley visited Africa, a fact that inspired a new album, 'Survival', a tribute to the African homeland.

In 1980 he published 'Uprising', whose success was overwhelming, leading to a new European tour which broke all attendance records. After the European tour, Marley fell gravely ill with cancer, caused by an injury that was done some years earlier.

On May 11, 1981 Bob Marley died in a Miami hospital at age 36. His body was taken to his hometown of Nine Mile, where it rests in a mausoleum. His funeral was attended by the prime minister and senior figures in his country.

  7. Niccolò Paganini

Niccoló was born on 27 October 1782 was an Italian violinist, violist, guitarist, and composer. He was one of the most celebrated violin virtuosi of his time, and left his mark as one of the pillars of modern violin technique. His Caprice No. 24 in A minor, Op. 1, is among the best known of his compositions, and has served as an inspiration for many prominent composers.
Niccolò Paganini was born in Genoa, Italy, the third of the six children of Antonio and Teresa Paganini. Paganini's father was an unsuccessful trader, but he managed to supplement his income through playing music on the mandolin. At the age of five, Paganini started learning the mandolin from his father, and moved to the violin by the age of seven. His musical talents were quickly recognized, earning him numerous scholarships for violin lessons.
Paganini and his father then traveled to Parma to seek further guidance from Alessandro Rolla. But upon listening to Paganini's playing, Rolla immediately referred him to his own teacher, Ferdinando Paer and, later, Paer's own teacher, Gasparo Ghiretti. Though Paganini did not stay long with Paer or Ghiretti, the two had consider.
Though having no shortage of romantic conquests, Paganini was once seriously involved with a singer named Antonia Bianchi from Como, whom he met in Milan in 1813. The two gave concerts together throughout Italy. They had a son, Achilles Cyrus Alexander, born on 23 July 1825, in Palermo and baptized at San Bartolomeo's. Their union was never legalized and it ended around April 1828 in Vienna. Paganini brought Achilles on his European tours, and Achilles would later accompany his father until the latter's death. He was instrumental in dealing with his father's burial, years after his death.
Throughout his career, Paganini also became close friends with composers Gioachino Rossini and Hector Berlioz. Rossini and Paganini met in Bologna in the summer of 1818. In January 1821, on his return from Naples, Paganini met Rossini again in Rome, just in time to become the composer's substitute conductor for his opera Mathilde de Sharbran, upon the sudden death of the original conductor. The violinist's efforts earned gratitude from the composer.
Meanwhile, Paganini was introduced to Berlioz in Paris in 1833. Though Paganini also commissioned from him Harold en Italie for viola and orchestra, he never performed it, and instead it was premiered a year later by violist Christian Urhan. Despite his alleged lack of interest in Harold, Paganini often referred to Berlioz as the resurrection of Beethoven and, towards the end of his life, he gave large sums to the composer.
Finally he die on 27 may 1840.

  8. TIME LINE:
The French invaded northern Italy in March 1796, and Genoa was not spared. The Paganinis sought refuge in their country property in Romairon. By 1800, Paganini and his father traveled to Livorno, where Paganini played in concerts and his father resumed his maritime work. In 1801, Paganini, aged 18 at the time, was appointed first violin of the Republic of Lucca, but a substantial portion of his income came from freelancing. His fame as a violinist was matched only by his reputation as a gambler and womanizer.
In 1805, Lucca was annexed by Napoleonic France, and the region was ceded to Napoleon's sister, Elisa Baciocchi. Paganini became a violinist for the Baciocchi court, while giving private lessons for her husband, Felice. In 1807, Baciocchi became the Grand Duchess of Tuscany and her court was transferred to Florence. Paganini was part of the entourage, but, towards the end of 1809, he left Baciocchi to resume his freelance career.
For the next few years, Paganini returned to touring in the areas surrounding Parma and Genoa. Though he was very popular with the local audience, he was still not very well known in Europe. His first break came from an 1813 concert which took place at La Scala in Milan. The concert was a great success, and as a result Paganini began to attract the attention of other prominent, albeit more conservative, musicians across Europe. His early encounters with Charles Philippe Lafont and Louis Spohr created intense rivalry. His concert activities, however, were still limited to Italy for the next few years.
His fame spread across Europe with a concert tour that started in Vienna in August, 1828, stopping in every major European city in Germany, Poland, and Bohemia until February, 1831 in Strasbourg. This was followed by tours in Paris and Britain
In September 1834, Paganini put an end to his concert career and returned to Genoa. Contrary to popular beliefs involving him wishing to keep his music and techniques secret, Paganini devoted his time to the publication of his compositions and violin methods. He accepted students, of whom two enjoyed moderate success: violinist Camillo Sivori and cellist Gaetano Ciandelli. Neither, however, considered Paganini helpful or inspirational. In 1835, Paganini returned to Parma, this time under the Archduchess of Austria, Napoleon's second wife.
In 1836, Paganini returned to Paris to set up a casino. Its immediate failure left him in financial ruins, and he auctioned off his personal effects, including his musical instruments, to recoup his losses. On Christmas of 1838, he left Paris for Marseilles and, after a brief stay, travelled to Nice where his condition worsened. In May of 1840, the Bishop of Nice sent Paganini a local parish priest to perform the Last Rites. Paganini, assuming the sacrament to be premature, refused.[3] A week later, on 27 May 1840, Paganini died from internal hemorrhaging before a priest could be summoned. On these grounds, and his widely rumored association with the devil, his body was denied a Catholic burial in Genoa.

Winehouse's parents separated when she was nine.
When Winehouse was nine years old, her grandmother, Cynthia, suggested she attend the Susi Earnshaw Theatre School for further training. At age ten, Winehouse founded a short-lived rap group called Sweet 'n' Sour with childhood friend Juliette Ashby.[22] She stayed at the Earnshaw School for four years before seeking full-time training at Sylvia Young Theatre School, but was allegedly expelled at 14 for "not applying herself" and for piercing her nose. (Sylvia Young herself has denied this – "She changed schools at 15 – I've heard it said she was expelled; she wasn't. I'd never have expelled Amy.") With other children from the Sylvia Young School, she appeared in an episode of The Fast Show in 1997.[25] She later attended The Mount School, Mill Hill, the BRIT School in Selhurst, Croydon, Southgate School and Ash mole School.
    Early career
After toying with her brother's guitar, Winehouse received her first guitar when she was 13, and began writing music a year later. She began working soon after, including as a showbiz journalist for the World Entertainment News Network, in addition to singing with local group the Bolsha Band. Her boyfriend at the time, soul singer Tyler James, sent her demo tape to an A&R person. Winehouse signed to Simon Fuller's 19 Management in 2002. While being developed by the management company, the artist was kept an industry secret. Her future A&R representative at Island/Universal, Darcus Beese, heard her by accident when the manager of The Lewinson Brothers showed him some productions of his clients on which Winehouse featured as vocalist. When he asked who the singer was the manager told him he was not allowed to say. Having decided that he wanted to sign her it took several months of asking around for Beese to eventually discover who the singer was. By this time Winehouse had already recorded a number of songs and signed a publishing deal with EMI. Through the publishers she formed a working relationship with the producer Salaam Remi.
Beese introduced Winehouse to his boss, Nick Gatfield, and the Island head shared his enthusiasm in signing the young artist. Winehouse was signed to Island/Universal as rival interest in Winehouse had started to build, with representatives at EMI and Virgin also starting to make moves. Beese told HitQuarters that he felt the reason behind the excitement over an artist who was an atypical pop star for the time was due to a backlash against reality TV music shows with audiences becoming starved for genuine young talent.
Winehouse's greatest love was 1960s girl groups Her stylist Alex Foden borrowed her "instantly recognizable" beehive hairdo (a weave) and she borrowed her Cleopatra makeup from The Ronettes.[32] Her imitation was so successful, the Village Voice reports: "Ronnie Spector—who, it could be argued, all but invented Winehouse's style in the first place when she took the stage at the Brooklyn Fox Theater with her fellow Ronettes more than 40 years ago—was so taken aback at a picture of Winehouse in the New York Post that she exclaimed, "I don't know her, I never met her, and when I saw that pick, I thought, 'That's me!' But then I found out, no, it's Amy! I didn't have on my glasses."
